Hi man!!! just wanted to say it is a really great job. I am new in blender (and i didn't use any 3d program before) but i want to learn. I got to this page and i was amazed. Can i ask you something? but don´t laugh (i´m new). Did you model the car as one big piece and then edited the vertices? or you made by separate pannels and then join them? i will be happy if you can answer. Thanks. (Sorry for my bad english, it's not my official language)

I just set the Emit to 5 for the LED ring. (Type it in, the slider doesn't go that far).

@mike pan If I recall correctly, that kind of headlight is composed of a led and a circular tube. Before from the head light, the light must scater through the tube (which have multiples faces). Did you model the led and the tube, or did you only model the tube as a tore with EMIT > 0 ?

Thanks ;) (And btw, really great modeling job)

@guillaume , I actually modeled the interior of the headlights, and combine that a plenty of refractive and reflective material to get that shiny look.

Using textures would make it look flat, especially in animations.

Regarding LuxRender, I agree. But it will also take 100x longer to render, right? :D

Kernon, you are right I am missing a signal light there (among other things), but this will do for now...

But it will cost lot of time and will result in lot of noise

That's a really nice job! My only crit is that there seems to be a chrome-like emblem missing on the front quarter-panels. I think it denotes the model or something (LS, LE, etc.).
