CG Cookie has a professional series coming out for Blender 2.5. Likely in a few months. Its cheap, but not free.
Cheers

Another tip that helped increase sculpting speed a lot, at least in my case, is using orthogonal view instead of perspective.

It may also be useful to reduce the number of undo levels, to gain more memory.

Hi man!!! just wanted to say it is a really great job. I am new in blender (and i didn't use any 3d program before) but i want to learn. I got to this page and i was amazed. Can i ask you something? but don´t laugh (i´m new). Did you model the car as one big piece and then edited the vertices? or you made by separate pannels and then join them? i will be happy if you can answer. Thanks. (Sorry for my bad english, it's not my official language)

True, noise isn't stable when animating, but that's the effect I wanted(sparkles aren't suppose to be stable). Although, most of the noise artifact you see is from not having enough blurry reflection sampling.

the "small speckles" texture in the car material, you should use a very small clouds texture, instead of noise.
noise isn't stable for animations, while clouds are. ;)
